Today's sermon is about nets (even metaphorical ones) and how we use them are even limited by them. Pastor Dee-Ann speaks about, self imposed, being "nothing but net" and how to see the new opportunities that God is wanting us to be a part of. The special music selection is "Little Jewels'' performed by the New Street UMC Chancel Choir.
“I am what I am by God’s grace, and God’s grace hasn’t been for nothing.” I Corinthians 15:10a (CEB) | “…As soon as they brought the boats to the shore, they left everything and followed Jesus.” Luke 5:10 (CEB)
Holy God, we gather to sing your praise and hear your word. Speak to us now, that we may be wise enough to perceive your call. Strengthen us now, that we may be brave enough to answer when you call. Guide us now, that we may follow where you would have us go. Amen
Go to love one another, for you are beloved. God to honor one another, for you are honored. Go to share life with one another, for you have been given life. Go with the power of God, whose Spirit is always with us and always guiding us. Amen.
I hope you enjoy this week's online service. Please share it with family and friends. Blessings!
